The 2008 "FlexoTech international Print- and Innovation Awards" of the British FlexoTech magazine were presented in the middle of October in London. Since 10 years these awards are given for various types of flexo print, different sizes and materials. It is one of the most prestigious international flexographic print events, sponsored by leading companies in the industry. Traditionally, one of these companies is the British subsidiary of the worldwide acting Lohmann Adhesive Tape Group. This year Lohmann UK sponsor the "Sacks and Corrugated Pre-print liner" award. The presentation of this award on behalf of Lohmann Headquarters in Germany was made by Account Manager Graphics, Silvia Casellato. Together with Account Manager Bob Drew she handed it over to the proud winner..........Furthermore, it is very enjoyable for Lohmann, that several of its customers were recognized in a number of categories. These nominees were: The Label Makers Ltd ( Label & Tag process), Bischof & Klein (Flexible Packaging over 50 cm, line & screen), Amcor Flexibles – Crompton Road (Flexible Packaging over 50 cm process), SA Labels Ltd (Combination Printing), SCA Packaging South (Corrugated postprint). Winners are: e.g. Amcor Flexibles, Crompton Road, SA Labels und CCL Label Decorative Sleeves. The Lohmann customer CCL Label Decorative Sleeves also won the "Supreme Award" (best print submitted). Specially with it´s DuploFLEX® products for the compressible mounting of flexographic printing plates, Lohmann is a well known partner in the graphical industry worldwide, reflecting a know-how of more than 50 years. And this special event had shown the top-ranking of the DuploFLEX® range also.
