Presently the company Lohmann/Germany has a special reason to be happy. Since February 2005, a new member joins the Lohmann adhesive tape group called Lohmann Danmark aps. The new subsidiary is located in Allerod near Copenhagen and is formerly known as Kuhns aps. This is a well known name, because Kuhns and Lohmann have been successful partners for more than 30 years. Lohmann is pleased to announce that the former proprietor of Kuhns aps, Flemming Gerlow, will stay as business manager. Together with Lohmann he will create the future market development in Denmark and Scandinavia. Special opportunities are seen in the consumer goods and the graphical industry, as the highly adaptable and extremely price-competitive pressure sensitive adhesive technology meets the challenge for an ever-increasing demand for cost effectiveness by simultaneously improving performance. Today the adhesive tape group already operates worldwide with several subsidiaries and representatives in more than 50 countries. Furthermore it is investing in order to offer it´s customers pan-European adhesive tape systems.
