The company Lohmann/Germany is one of the few adhesive tapes manufacturers covering the complete value-chain of double-sided adhesive tapes production. This includes also the production of flexo printing products, which reflects a graphical know-how of more than 50 years. Specially with it´s DuploFLEX products for the compressible mounting of flexographic printing plates, the company is a well known partner in the graphical industry worldwide. Lohmann Technologies, in Hebron, Kentucky, USA, is presenting this graphical expertise in a special way. The US-American subsidiary supports the Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School near Toronto, Canada, through free samples and presentations throughout the year. The DuploFLEX products are of special interest for the high-school students, because of the new "Flexography Regional Program" which is available only at Gordon Graydon. And this new study course seems to be very successful, for Gordon Graydon students dominated the international flexography competition 10th "Phoenix Challenge" in March 2007. Lohmann Technologies will use this unique way to increase it´s name and products into the Canadian marketplace in future also.
