Plate mounting tapes stick the printing plate, or the flexible printing plate, which in flexographic printing is mounted on a print cylinder, to the sleeve.

Adhesive characteristics properties
Depending upon which print cylinder or print plate is used, the 3 adhesive qualities standard, plus and ultra mean the avoidance of edge lifting - the lifting of the plate at the edges during printing - as well as simple repositioning and clean demounting after printing.
Foam carrier
The foam has optimal resilience characteristics and the lowest thickness tolerances. This ensures constant high-quality printing results. The impression setting can be reduced to a minimum.

Double-sided flexible reinforcement of DuploFLEX®
With recurring or small printing orders, the reproducibility of flexographic print jobs is a matter of course. Similarly, the colour accuracy for the big brands has to be 100% identical. Lohmann documents the thickness of each individual foam tape.
