The beautiful wooden stars, made by a Lohmann employee and her husband from leftover pallet wood from production and logistics, not only delighted colleagues, but now also make children's eyes light up. Originally intended as decorations, the stars were so well received that they were completely sold out among colleagues and friends. Demand was so high that more had to be produced by the third weekend of Advent.
The proceeds of €760 from the sale of the stars will now go to the Aktion Lichtblicke e.V., an organization that has been helping children, young people and families in need in North Rhine-Westphalia since 1998. The campaign was launched by the 45 local radio stations in North Rhine-Westphalia together with Caritas and Diakonie and has already helped countless people in difficult circumstances.
Lohmann is proud not only to manufacture high-quality products, but also to take on social responsibility. This campaign is another example of our commitment to the community.
