Yes. Our manufacturing platform covers small-volume runs under 100,000 pieces for early-stage testing and clinical trials, and large-volume production above 100,000 pieces once your product is ready to scale.

Lohmann supplies skin and device adhesives for continuous glucose monitoring sensors, temperature-monitoring patches, health patches, and large-volume injectors, as well as patch pumps, infusion sets, and mobile cardiac telemetry devices. Options range from repositionable, low-peel-strength tapes to longwear adhesives rated for 28+ days of continuous wear.

 Yes. Lohmann offers application testing and prototyping support - including in our Application Design Lab - so you can validate adhesion, wear time, and material compatibility on your specific patch or device design before scaling up. This is a good first step for medtech companies still finalizing their product design. 

It depends on the application. Standard wearable adhesives typically hold for several days up to 21 days of continuous wear, and our Longwear skin adhesive (DuploMED 85300) is built for 28+ days on skin types that are otherwise hard to adhere to. Some short-term applications, like certain patch pumps, only need an hour of fixation.

Yes. Lohmann's medical-grade skin adhesives are tested and certified as biocompatible according to ISO 10993, and they're formulated to reduce skin irritation for long-term and repeat wear.  This makes them a fit for continuous glucose monitors, biosensors, and other wearables worn daily on a wide range of skin types. including sensitive, geriatric, or neonatal skin.

 Yes. Production for medical adhesive tapes and smart patch components takes place in clean-room environments, in line with the quality requirements of EN ISO 13485. This keeps particle contamination low and supports the traceability medical device manufacturers need for regulatory approval.
