We are delighted to have been honored on Monday with the WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo) Sustainable Impact Award (SIA) for our social commitment!
For the third time, WiWo recognized medium-sized companies for their sustainable and responsible actions benefiting people and the environment.
Carsten Herzhoff attended the awards ceremony in Munich and expressed his enthusiasm for our sustainability and social initiatives:
“We firmly believe that a holistic approach to sustainability provides the best foundation for continuously improving the quality of life of present and future generations. Since our company was founded more than 170 years ago, our progress and innovative ideas have been driven by a strong sense of social responsibility. Together, as #TeamLohmann, we are proud to embrace this responsibility!”
At Lohmann, we actively support communities around the world in a variety of ways – through donations, sponsorships and partnerships, as well as through our employees’ volunteer work. At our German sites, our Social Sponsoring Program provides extensive annual support to various partners in the areas of sports, culture and community welfare.
“Our commitment goes beyond supporting individual projects. Through the combined impact of our activities, we aim to strengthen society and promote social cohesion,” explains Katharina Kunke (C-MaC), Head of Social Sponsoring at Lohmann.
We see this award as a meaningful incentive to continue our impactful work.
