On September 18th and 19th, Lohmann hosted a technical training session for distributors from Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Serbia at our TEC Center in Neuwied. This event marked our first live training session for distributors since COVID-19 and followed last year’s successful Distributor Conference.
The 1.5-day training aimed to update distributors on new Lohmann products and applications, fostering insightful discussions and experience exchange. Practical sessions in the Bonding Arena provided hands-on experience with new products. Initial feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. The practical sessions were particularly valued for offering a level of experience that online training programs cannot match.
Stanislav Onopriyenko, Head of Market Development Sales Channels, emphasized the importance of these technical trainings: “Technical trainings are an essential part of the marketing package offered by Lohmann to our distribution partners. Live sessions are especially valuable, as they facilitate vivid discussions and help strengthen relationships with our distributors.”
Plans are already underway to expand these training courses to other regions and product segments, depending on interest and demand. This initiative aligns with Lohmann’s strategy #BeyondExcellence, showcasing our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of our operations.
The training significantly strengthened the cooperation and network between distributors and Lohmann. It facilitated insightful discussions, experience exchange, and allowed distributors to meet and interact with Lohmann application engineers. Segment colleagues also gained valuable market insights and discussed current challenges faced by distributor sales teams.
