Secure Mirror Bonding with DuploCOLL® 918 

Held in place as if by magic: mirrors in many shapes and sizes. Be it on wood, ceramic, glass, metal or plastic. The connecting medium between the surfaces is DuploCOLL 918.

Safe Bondings Solutions Ensured by KINON Method

Lohmann's co-developed KINON testing method to assess the resistance against permanent shear stress sets a new standard for evaluating the durability of adhesive bonds across various substrates to determine the long-term static adhesion under real indoor conditions.

Procedure:

  • Bonding area: 625 mm² (25mm x 25mm; DIN EN 1939:1996)
  • Applied load: 10 N over a period of 28 days or 20 N over a period of 7 days
  • Conditions: Normalized at 23°C ± 2°C (50% ± 5% relative humidity)
