Expectations

Within our company the supplier selection follows a structured process to ensure transparent and reliable sourcing decisions. To ensure a continuous improvement of the quality, service and costs in our supply chain, Lohmann suppliers need to prove their commitment for the following areas:

  • Quality Management Systems according to ISO 9001 (mandatory), ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 13485
  • Active delivery performance improvement and cost management while utilizing EDI connections and transport management portals
  • Acceptance of the Lohmann Terms and Conditions of Supply and the Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Transparency and digitalization of business processes
  • Continuous improvement of the product costs and offered conditions
  • Full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (such as REACH and RoHS)

At Lohmann we appreciate a direct and collaborative exchange with existing and potential business partners. Suppliers are welcome to present their product portfolio and to exchange for new development activities.

Sustainability Standards 

To align with Lohmann's sustainability objectives, suppliers must meet key environmental and social criteria, including: 

  • ISO 14000 certification for environmental management. 
  • Social Responsibility standards such as ISO 26000, ISO 45000, and SA 8000. 
  • Human Rights and Labor Practices: We expect adherence to international human rights standards and the elimination of child labor and modern slavery. 

Supplier Code of Conduct (SCoC)

All suppliers are required to acknowledge and adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct. This code ensures that our suppliers operate ethically and sustainably, with a focus on environmental stewardship, human rights, and fair business practices.
