Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG, a leading company in adhesive tape technology headquartered in Neuwied, is ranked 16th in the renowned WirtschaftsWoche ranking "Germany's Most Innovative Medium-Sized Companies 2023".
For more than 40 years, WirtschaftsWoche has annually selected the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany based on their products, research and development and services. This year, Lohmann asserted itself against 4000 competitors to secure a place in the top 20 of the prestigious ranking.
The placement among "Germany's most innovative medium-sized companies 2023" is a confirmation of the adhesive specialists' continuous commitment to developing innovative and future-proof solutions for the challenges of our time. Among other things, Lohmann was recently awarded the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Prize for its TwinMelt technology innovation, a solvent-free coating process that reduces energy consumption per square metre of adhesive tape by 66 %. The solvent-free and UV-light activatable adhesive tapes of the UV-LUX product range also received this award. The latest developments of the long-established company focus on the area of renewable raw materials: already 50 % of the adhesive in the DuploCOLL ECO adhesive tape range is biobased.
