Harald, what is currently driving window design?
Minimalism. Slimmer profiles and larger glass surfaces are clearly dominating architecture. But these designs only work if performance keeps up. Reduced tolerances and higher loads demand bonding solutions that are absolutely reliable over the long term.

How are materials influencing system complexity?

For me, sustainability is mainly about service life. A window that lasts longer has a much smaller environmental footprint. With SDG technology, we’ve achieved a minimum 30-year service life, officially recognized by the German Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBSR). That turns sustainability into a measurable, verifiable performance factor.

What does this mean for manufacturers and distributors?
